What is Advertising Workspace?

by | Aug 17, 2021

The Advertising Workspace is GA4’s reporting feature that provides marketers with deeper insights into their marketing campaign performance.

The Advertising Workspace is intended to help advertisers achieve their advertising objectives more effectively. This GA4 interface focuses on attribution models and path conversion.

The reports included in the advertising workspace can help you better understand your ROI across different channels and give deeper insights on the relationship between your marketing channels and how they contribute to conversions.

Advertising Workspace

Advertising workspace currently has three types of reports:

  • Advertising Snapshot: Shows you automated insights using Google’s machine learning and lets you compare two attribution models to see the percentage of conversions.
  • Model Comparison: Let you compare attribution models and see how they perform against each other. You can choose two attribution models, and the report will show you the number of conversions and revenue based on your marketing channels for each attribution.
  • Conversion Paths: Shows you the touchpoints where users engage before they turn into conversion.
