A retweet is Twitter’s feature where other users share tweets (or posts)
When someone retweets your post, they’re republishing your tweet to their followers. Due to the nature of retweets, users are motivated to create posts because they want their message to be shared and seen across the platform.
For marketers, the feature is a great way to increase brand awareness and can also be used as a metric. Ideally, you want to keep track of your posts that your followers retweeted. You’ll know what type of post receives more reaction from your followers by keeping track of them. This way, you can replicate the success for future posting.
