What does HTTPS stand for?

Hypertext transfer protocol secure or HTTPS is a protocol ensuring secure communication between two systems over a computer network.

 

Unlike HTTP, HTTPS uses encrypted format during data transferring, providing a more secure line for communication between the browser and web server. HTTPS can prevent hackers from gaining information and using the data thanks to its encrypted message.
