What is a Mid-Roll Video Ad?

A Mid-Roll video is a video advertisement that automatically plays during a break in a piece of video content, usually longform video. Most common ad durations are 6 second, 15 second, 30 second, and 60 second video advertisements. Most video players do not allow a skip function during a Mid-Roll video ad.
