What does MFA stand for?

by | Jul 28, 2021

MFA stands for Multi-Factor Authentication.

MFA is the process of logging in to a system using more than just a password. This extra factor usually comes in the form of code that is sent via text or email. The codes can include letters and numbers that are time-sensitive, meaning they will expire after a certain time.

The multi-factor- authentication method creates a more secure way of protecting your login access from hackers and other cybercriminal activities.
