A landing page is a page where visitors first lands on when visiting a website after they click on a link from an email, Google, Youtube, Facebook, or other similar web. 

A landing page has a single purpose: converting visitors into leads. To maximize conversions, a landing page usually contains a targeted message or a call to action (CTA). The CTA on a landing page can be a line of text or even an image, telling visitors where to click to access the offer.  

Unlike a homepage, where there are a lot of things going on, a landing page should be simple, precise, and attractive at the same time. For example, having fewer links on your landing page can increase conversions as it creates fewer distractions for visitors and gives you the focus you need. 

Landing pages can be created directly within a website platform, or there are popular landing page builders like Hubspot, Leadpages, Unbounce, and more.
