What Is On-Site SEO?

by | Sep 22, 2020

On-Site SEO is the function of SEO that focuses within the actual company’s website.

On-Site SEO or On-Page SEO is the optimization of content on a web page to improve its search rankings and visibility. Besides producing and optimizing the quality of content, on-site SEO also looks at keyword placement and density, HTML tags, heading, structured schema, and images are also key aspects. SEO strategies include a mix of On-Site SEO and Off-Site SEO

On-Site SEO is generally the area that gets the most attention by SEOs, as it is an area where a company, webmaster or SEO has more control over the factors that go into it. Search engines like Google are often changing the actual factors that go into a good SEO strategy, but high-quality, well-structured and up-to-date content are almost always cornerstones of their ranking components. Google Search Console and Microsoft/Bing Webmaster Tools are both areas that provide a significant amount of information on a company’s On-Site SEO performance.
