PPC Stands For Pay Per Click Advertising

PPC or pay-per-click is a digital advertising method where advertisers only pay when their ad is clicked on. PPC is commonly used in search engine marketing as a great way to increase brand exposure and drive traffic to your website.

One benefit of using PPC advertising is that your ads will appear on the first page of search results when someone searches a related term. Additionally, PPC advertising provides greater control over when your ads run and how much you spend per day.

Typically used when referencing search ads, as it allows advertisers to bid on commonly searched phrases/keywords and display their ad. Some display, video and social media advertising platforms allow you to pay based on click-based engagements, in which those too would be referred to as PPC.
