Off-Road Just Went Online: ATV Ads Arrive, and We’re Already Revving
Corkboard Concepts, a Pittsburgh-based, data-driven marketing agency serving automotive and powersports clients nationwide, today announced it is moving quickly to bring Google’s newly expanded Vehicle Ads program to its powersports dealer clients. Google recently opened Vehicle Ads, previously limited to cars and trucks, to include all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), utility task vehicles (UTVs), and non-motorized trailers, giving powersports dealers a direct path to the same high-intent, in-market shoppers automotive dealers have reached for years.
Vehicle ads are a lower-funnel, performance-driven format built to reach shoppers actively searching for a vehicle on Google. Each ad displays a photo of the unit alongside make, model, price, and dealer name, which connects the shopper directly to a Vehicle Description Page on the dealer’s own website. These are one of the highest impact powersports ad units, due to stepping outside of just plain text and being positioned above standard results on Google. For powersports dealers, that means ATV, UTV and trailer inventory can now show up in the same high-intent moment that has driven results for automotive dealers for years.
“Google’s rollout of VLAs for UTVs and ATVs gives us a vastly more visual, intent-driven channel to drive qualified dealership leads. By integrating real-time dealer inventory feeds directly into ad placements, we can significantly reduce cost-per-lead while delivering seamless, localized shopping experiences for off-road enthusiasts.”
— Thomas Lorenzi, Ad Operations Manager, Corkboard Concepts
Corkboard Concepts already manages Google Vehicle Listing Ad campaigns for a roster of automotive dealership clients and runs paid media for powersports brands, including Kawasaki, BMW, BRP, and is a Honda Powersports preferred vendor. That existing infrastructure – vehicle data feeds, Performance Max campaign management, and Merchant Center setup – puts the agency in position to get eligible dealer clients live on the expanded program quickly, rather than starting from scratch.
The expanded program requires participating dealers to meet Google’s eligibility standards: a verified dealership license, direct-seller status (brokers are not eligible), a single-state Merchant Center listing scope, clean vehicle titles, and a physical dealership location for in-person purchase completion. Corkboard Concepts is offering existing and new dealer clients a readiness review to walk through these requirements and get compliant inventory feeds live as quickly as Google’s 24–48-hour review window allows. Dealers interested in a readiness review or in launching a Vehicle Ads campaign for ATV, UTV, RV, or trailer inventory can reach out to Corkboard Concepts directly at digital@corkboardconcepts.com or 412-736-5441.
