What Is Paid Media?

by | Sep 18, 2020

Paid Media is an external marketing option in which a company pays to get their product promoted. Popular examples of paid media include TV advertising, Paid Search Advertising (SEM), Programmatic Display Ads and more. All contents of Paid Media are created by the company, but it’s distributed on other channels that the company doesn’t own but has paid for. The lifetime of paid media is very finite with it stopping the moment that it is no longer paid for, with the exemption of recognition and resonance being a lasting effect that plays into a company’s Owned Media (i.e. their brand).
