What is a Pre-Roll Video Ad?

by | May 25, 2020

A Pre-Roll video is a video advertisement that automatically plays before a piece of video content. Most common ad durations are 6 second, 15 second, 30 second, and 60 second video advertisements. Many video ad players online have a skippable function that allows you to skip the video ad after 5 seconds. Running 6 second Pre-Roll video ads allows you to bypass the possibility of a user skipping the ad.
