What Does DOOH Mean?

by | Mar 11, 2021

Digital Out-Of-Home is outdoor advertising that uses digital signage technologies to deliver its content

Digital Out-Of-Home advertising is a digitalized version of traditional Out-Of-home advertising (OOH). Like its counterpart, DOOH is placed anywhere outdoors, such as metro stations, campuses, retail stores, buses, and other public spaces. The striking difference is that DOOH uses digital screens such as televisions and digital billboards.

Some benefits of DOOH are:

  • DOOH is dynamic. Therefore, content can be more attractive and engaging for viewers.
  • Advertisers can target relevant information in a timely manner. DOOH ads can be easily changed over the days.
  • Digital-out-of-home allows programmatic capabilities. Transactions, operations, optimization, and data collection can be done automatically under one interface or system.
