Responsibilities:
The Account Manager is the main point of contact for their assigned client accounts, managing all day-to-day communication, ensuring client needs are met, and keeping everything running smoothly. They work closely with sales and operations teams to deliver projects on time, identify opportunities for revenue growth within their account base, and build strong relationships that support long-term success and retention.
This Position Will Require The Following:
- Serves as the primary go-to person between clients and internal teams, handling all daily communications clearly and professionally while responding to client requests in a timely manner.
- Reviews and analyzes performance reports with clients regularly, translating the data into clear, meaningful insights and offering actionable recommendations to improve results.
- Delivers exceptional customer service by being responsive, solutions-oriented, and consistently supportive throughout every client interaction.
- Identifies opportunities for upselling and account growth, leading conversations with confidence and always keeping the client’s goals and needs at the forefront.
- Coordinates with sales, operations, and other internal departments at Corkboard to ensure all projects and campaigns stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
- Regularly checks in with clients and follows up as needed, strengthening relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Educates clients on new products, services, and opportunities in a way that’s informative and engaging, tailored to their specific business goals
- Collaborates with clients to brainstorm and develop thoughtful strategies, offering fresh ideas and a supportive approach to help them reach their goals
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in account management, client services, sales, or a related role within the marketing or advertising industry
- Working knowledge of key marketing services including paid social, paid search, SEO, website development, organic social, OTT/CTV, programmatic advertising, content creation, and campaign reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead client conversations, build trust, and maintain long-term relationships
- Proven ability to identify and confidently present upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with client goals
- Comfortable discussing budgets, pitching new services, and contributing to revenue growth within existing accounts
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple client needs, timelines, and deliverables
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, creative, and operations teams
- Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools (Monday.com) is a plus
