Responsibilities:
The Content Specialist Intern’s primary responsibility is to work within the team’s Search Engine Optimization and Organic Social Media teams. Corkboard Concepts will provide initial training and an ongoing framework that includes access to educational resources, such as courses and certifications, to develop professional competencies in SEO and social media marketing. This individual will be responsible for creating social media content, scheduling posts, reporting, and managing multiple businesses’ social media platforms, writing blogs, optimizing on and off-site content, and more.
This Position Will Require The Following:
- In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications Journalism, or related studies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Detail-orientated
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be proficient on the computer with basic programs (Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Drive, Sheets, etc.)
Additional Helpful Skills:
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools
- Video/Reel editing skills
- Knowledge of social analytics (Meta Business Suite, Insights, TikTok Analytics)
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles
- Creative mindset
