In Marketing, SEV Stands for Search Engine Visibility
SEV, or Search Engine Visibility, is about the visibility of a brand’s website in search results, like Google and Bing. Similar to SEV, Moz refers to Search Visibility as, “The Search Visibility score is the percentage of clicks we estimate you receive based on your organic rankings positions, across all of the keywords you’re tracking in your Campaign.” At Corkboard Concepts, we refer to Search Engine Visibility not on a click-basis (usually an engagement tracking metric) but rather on an impression-basis in terms of pure impressions and impression share (SOV) across Paid and Organic Search.
