SAL stands for Sales Accepted Lead. It is the MQL leads that the sales team has agreed to be a promising prospect. At this stage, the sales team has accepted that the lead is valuable. However, a more rigorous process needs to be done, including confirming the lead’s data and accuracy, before it can be taken to the next step on the sales funnel.
