Objective
Our team was tasked to quickly establish Nebraska Pro Volleyball/Omaha Supernovas as a professional sports team, to support player signing, build local and volleyball community awareness and ultimately drive season ticket sales. At the onset of this campaign, the team was operating as “Nebraska Pro Volleyball”, with the team name announcement to come at a later date. The goals set were to build the largest following in the Pro Volleyball Federation and sell 2,000 season tickets ahead of the season.
Our approach
Our approach effectively leveraged a connected Paid, Earned and Owned Media strategy to reach our end goals:
- Building a website/rebranding Nebraska Pro Volleyball content.
- Capturing information on interested parties to keep up to date with major organizational changes, player signings, giveaways, and ticket sales.
- Gaining followers across social media platforms to build credibility and a loyal audience.
