ECPSU STANDS FOR “EFFECTIVE COST PER SWIPE UP”

eCPSU is an acronym used in SnapChat Advertising for the cost of a particular action, similar to a click or engagement on other platforms, called a “Swipe Up”. With the swipe action on SnapChat being equivalent to a click or tap  on other social media and  digital platforms.

The acronym eCPMR is an acronym used on Snapchat’s advertising dashboard as a cost metric for number of people reached, rather than just number of ads served (CPM). eCPMR is an important metric to understand your campaign, or ads, efficiency at reaching people within your targeting parameters. eCPMR  is similar to other specific Snapchat acronyms and terms like eCPSU and Swipe Ups.

ECPS Stands For Effective Cost Per Share

Not to be confused with eCPSU (effective cost per swipe up), eCPS is a Snapchat acronym for the effective Cost Per Share. This is an cost-based metric for efficiency based on share engagements. eCPS is a popular metric in Snapchat advertising, specifically with Lenses. To calculate eCPS, simply take the total advertising spend divided by the number of shares.
