Vehicle listings are a new offering from Google that allows dealerships to show what cars they have on their lot right on Google’s SERP for free.
Some of the information vehicle listings give consumers are the year, make, model, and MSRP of the vehicle. Along with this information, it also shows what dealership the specific car is at, and approximately how far away the consumer is from the dealership.
There are two areas that vehicle listings can show up in, the dealership’s GMB or on the right side of the search results. When a consumer searches for a specific dealership, Google will show what vehicles they have on their lot in their GMB profile.

While Google’s vehicle listings have many similarities to their vehicle ads, there are a few important differences to note. The most important difference is that the vehicle listings are free compared to having to pay for the vehicle ads. This allows dealerships to get their names and vehicles in front of more consumers at no additional cost.
