What is a Cross Device in Google Analytics?

Google’s Cross Device is a tool to track and manage users’ data from multiple devices.

Cross Device helps businesses manage different data of users across different devices. So, for example, one segment of users might use a mobile device to surf the web and use the laptop to purchase. Another segment might use the desktop to sign and purchase with a mobile device a couple of days later.

The Cross Device reports help collect and connect all these different information into one cohesive analysis. As a result, businesses can better understand what steps customers take at every stage of the conversion process.
