SAAS stands for Software As A Service.
SAAS is a software delivery model where users can access an application and its data via a web browser without downloading it. Compared to the traditional software downloads, SaaS has a lower upfront cost, and its application is more accessible because it runs through an internet browser, which means it’s not limited to one operating system.
The one disadvantage is that the application needs an internet connection to access. However, with the ever-increasing connectivity, this has become less of an issue.
